On the way down to Queenstown, we’ll visit the Blue Pools in Haast Pass, as well as stopping in at NZ’s famous Cardrona Bra Fence (where you ladies can add to the fence’s collection, if you've got one spare).
Arriving late in the afternoon, we’ll check into our accommodation before heading to the world’s best burger joint: Fergburger. After that, the night is yours. With views over one of the bluest lakes you’re likely to ever see, make sure the camera is charged! Your mates back home are about to have mad FOMO.
Ravaged by 2011’s devastating earthquake, Christchurch the ‘Garden City’ has been in rebuild mode ever since, and is once again widely regarded as New Zealand’s most beautiful city.
Arriving early afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace, as our guides suggest an afternoon’s worth of activities (and bars) to keep you busy. As this will be our last night in the south, we’re expecting nothing to do be left on the table tonight!

Day 11: North We Go - Wellington Part 2
Today we say ‘Haere Rā’ (goodbye) to the South as an early start sees us head back up to Picton to catch the ferry back to the North Island.
You’ll often hear Kiwis say “you can’t beat Wellington on a good day,” so let’s hope the weather Gods are smiling down on us as we arrive back in Wellington for our second night’s stay of the tour. For those budget-tight travellers among us, the majestic ‘Blue Spring’ will be where we spend our time while the rest are in ‘The Shire’. Here at the Blue Spring, unbelievably crystal-blue water emerges, deep in the heart of the forest.
Once together again, it’s back on the bus and back to the bright lights of Auckland, where we say our farewells!
Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Optional Paid Extras: Hobbiton movie set ($84 approx.)
